Woke up again to no water. And I gotta admit, it made me a little grouchy.

And then the Lord gently reminded me that people all around me were living every single day of their lives without running water in their homes, without hope of ever having a hot shower, but worse yet...

without Him.

And then, because God is God- He blessed me in an even greater way…

With this…

And I stand in awe.

Moral of the story… always look for the good in life because sometimes,

 it’s right there,

just waiting for you to take notice of it.

Splendor and majesty are before him; strength and joy in his dwelling place.

1 Chronicles 16:27

thank you so much for your blog. i love what you guys are doing. i haven't read any blogs (from anyone) for a long time & last time i read your blog you were still living in the States. i know that God is calling our family to foster or adopt at some stage . . . but I know it needs to be in His time. in the mean time, i will be praying for your family, especially in missions. my husband & i did some volunteer work in a home for kids with HIV/AIDS, for a few wks in Brazil, before our kids came along - some of your photos remind me of our time there. God bless you all heaps.

I've followed your blog off and on for three years. I'm blessed by your writing and your call on others to see "as God sees." Our family is following your footsteps, but to Ghana. We are hoping to depart in mid-June. We will be ministering to orphans and taking the gospel into regions of the country that are unreached with the HOPE of Christ. I am thankful for the Lord's leading on your life. Thank you for being His vessel. Thank you for saying YES to the call to GO. Thanks for writing about it to impact others - like me. You family has helped spur our family of 7 on from adoption to missions. Stay encouraged keeping your focus on God. Thankful for you. Robin

I love your blog. Feeling defeated by lack of support from family to our calling. Just love your perspective!!!!!!
