Waste

There are so many things we can waste in our lives….

We can waste food

Waste time

Waste opportunities

Waste money

Waste resources

Wasted relationships

WASTED...

But the biggest loss is when we waste our lives.

Live today like the gift that it is.

Don’t waste a single second of it.

You have a whole new year in front of you to live big for God. I don’t care who you are, where you have been or what you have done- God wants to use your life if you are willing to let him.

Really let Him.

There is nothing He cannot overcome. Nothing He cannot change. If you are truly willing to let Him.

It's a waste spending your life
Being selfish,
Being greedy,
Being hateful,
Being unkind
Being scared
Being worried
Being bitter

Let them go... choose to be useful to God.

So today begins a New Year. Make it happy. Make it good. Let Him have your life today. I promise it won’t be a ‘waste’ of your time.

If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. (Matthew 16:24-25 NKJV)

Let go and let God, right Amy?! Great post. I pray 2010 brings a spiritual awakening in ourselves, our families, our churches, our communities, and in our country!

True - Have you read "Don't Waste Your Life" by John Piper? That is one of my favorite books - good for all ages and all stages.

Amy- I love this verse. In fact I have a t-shirt with the verse on it and on the back it says "I'm a loser" which prompts many looks, many questions, and many opportunities to witness.

STANDING OVATION! LOL!

AMEN AMEN AMEN!

For about six months of my blogging I spent sharing about Luke 9:23-25.

Oh how I love when God confirms what He has spoken to me through others - especially you Amy!

Lots of love - ready to let it all go this year and do His will fully - lived up - laughed up - used up - all for HIS GLORY!

Hi Friend,

Just stopped by to say, "Happy New Year". Please give your beautiful family a great Big Hug from the Big D. Family.

Guess what? We'll be heading your way again next summer. Yippee! Dear son Jeremiah will be getting married in Georgia, and we'll be taking a road trip through Texas. Hope to see you then!

love ya,

Laurel :)
