Today I had the privilege of taking one of our orphans here at Eagles Nest, Jeni, to Guatemala City today with Felis to get Jeni's new hearing aids. Jeni is 9 years old and has been here in our Children's home for the past year. Jeni was born tongue died and partially deaf.
Here she is today with her new hearing aids. :)
It was such a blessing to witness Jeni hear clearly today for the first time. Seeing the excitement in her eyes brought tears to mine. Once again I realize just how much I take for granted. Jeni giggled her way through the afternoon at the magic of each new sound around her and I couldn't help but to smile. God is just so good.
To make the day even better we received news that the money has been raised for baby Victoria to also receive her BAHA hearing aids!!! What a huge answer to prayer! I want to thank each and every one of you who prayed, gave and advocated for this precious little girl. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of these children and thank you for giving them a chance in life. We couldn't do this without you and we are so blessed to be serving along side of you all.

YAY! That is fantastic for both kids! I was legally deaf until 6 years of age when I had "tubes". Thankfully that reversed my problem. As I've gotten older, my hearing has begun to worsen (I'm 37 now), and so I appreciate the ability to hear every single day.
Wonderful for these children!
Praise be to God! Thank you Jesus for answered prayers! All the Glory is yours!
That is awesome :)
Which company made her hearing aids?
