Hi Amy, I made a comment on my blog about praying for children a couple of days ago; looking at your picture reminded me of it. Well, you guys have a blessed Sunday. P.S. Sorry Todd I called you "Jodd" on a previous comment. Blessings to your family.
Nothing is better than a photo of children praying. This month of beans and rice will come and go (I know it must seem l...o..n...g to you all) but the legacy will live on and on:) Lisa
Looking for advice from the fundraising queen: we just had a nice piece of art (worth $500) donated for our adoption. Which has seemed to work best for you - raffle or auction? Mind you, I don't have 200 followers though. Thanks in advance!
Dear Amy~ I'm so thankful for your comment on our blog, as I've been able to stop by yours and be encouraged. I did try and email you, but I'm unsure if you've received it. In case you haven't, here is my personal email address: ministree333@yahoo.com

Saw this recipe for Haitian rice and beans on my friend's blog and thought of you. Not sure if this is more than you want to do for the purpose of this month, but thought it might be another way of fixing it. These recipes are straight from the table in Haiti.
Blessed mommy of nine- 4 the regular old way, 2 adopted from Guatemala, 2 adopted through the foster system, and one adopted from Ethiopia. Our family is serving the Lord in Guatemala at Village of Hope- a home for special needs children. I'm passionate about adoption and being a mom. I'm a work in progress, utterly reliant upon God. I'm easy-going, until I freak out. Organized, until I lose something. Laid back, until someone hurts the ones I love. I love taking pictures and writing. I adore big families and people who are willing to live life in an unordinary way. Come along on my journey and watch 'as my blessings grow'.

WOW what an example. Better to be left desiring God than things of this world that will leave you empty!
What a precious photo Amy!
Praising God for the example of sacrifice you have made.
Love and hugs,
Jill
