Oh my .... I hadn't thought about that part of things. My Big Boys have serious issues when they eat too many beans. Too funny!

Gorgeous pics of your sweetheart boy! Love it, friend.

baahhaaahahahahahah....

I told my family about what you guys are doing and they agreed to try it for either one week OR rice & beans once a week, indefinitely.

So...this is probably a dumb question but how do you cook the beans? Do you buy them in a bag and cook them all day or just dump them out of a can? :)

Hahaha- funny! We always subtitute the "magical" for 'musical' but all the same- lol!

Made me chuckle, but to so many in the world it is not funny- but reality. Still I can hear my dad saying that comment over and over, and my mom saying- stop that. Memories.

LOL! We haven't had that issue here.

Sorry for you!

Love and blessings,
Jill

I too think this is a beautiful thing, Amy, that you and your family are doing. I don't know that I could get my girls to go for this right now, but I can say that we are looking to reduce, reduce, reduce our spending. We currently still have our Guatemalan adoption underway (I've written to you privately about some things in the past) and the costs have continued to climb. I firmly feel that God WILL provide because I KNOW that she is supposed to be part of our family. I often wonder what I am supposed to be learning through this process which has lasted almost 2 years and it's not over yet. Then, I have to stop and remind myself that God IS in control, not me. So, I will continue to be still and listen to Him.
On a less serious note, if you or someone in your family is experiencing gas from the beans, it will go away. We eat beans at almost every evening meal and they no longer create gas for us. :)
Blessings!
Karen
