Illinois here we come. :)

We are so excited to get to see our family and friends this weekend as we travel to Illinois to bring Keegan to college. While we are there our family will be sharing our story at the LeRoy Christian Church at 9:00 on Sunday, August 7th. We are thrilled to visit this amazing church who has welcomed us with open arms already. Such a blessing to see the church in action working together for the Great Commission. If you live in the area we would love to meet you in person so come on over! :)
We have spent the past couple of days packing Keegan, crying when he wasn't looking, and wondering how the past 18 years could have possibily gone by so quickly. I am pretty positive I will work my way through an entire box of tissues on the drive home. Man do I ever love that kid. Man do I love all of them.

19 more days until we leave for Guatemala!!!

Pretty picture of your kids! I'm heading to college in a couple of weeks, as well. I went shopping with my mom today, to get some stuff for my dorm. It was such fun, but made it even more of a reality that I'm leaving. I sure will miss my sweet family and precious little siblings.

Thinking of you as you take Keegan to college and then do your Guatemala turn around so quickly. What an exciting month you have ahead of you!

Catching up on your blog.....can't believe the time is getting soo close!!! SOOO EXCITED for your move- PRAYING hedges of safety and protection, and strength to do what God has called you to do!!!! :)

I have no idea how we will survive when our little ones leave the nest......I think one box of kleenex will NOT cut it. :)

Praying Psalm 91 over your family and fasting today that God will be with each one of you during this transition time, for Him to heal hearts that are hurting as you have had to say good-bye to so many people and things. Praying you feel His peace today, that each of your children will be strengthened and secure in the love of Christ. Praying that instead of you feeling like pieces of your heart are scattered, leaving you maybe feeling a little less than "whole" as you make a new home, that instead you'll feel like those pieces are more like branches on a tree...spread out but still connected...and that instead of any brokenness there would be fruitfulness and beauty. Hope that makes sense.:)
Love,
Rory

Praying for safe travels to Illinois. I live about 40 minutes from LeRoy, but I will be working at Minier's corn days festival selling funnel cakes for my church. You have a beautiful family and would love to meet you in person. I will be following your blog anxious to hear about serving HIM in Guatemala !

I could not believe when I read that you only have 19 days left...wow, where has the time gone? I'm SO excited for you...and yet sad that you are leaving Keegan behind. God has incredible plans for his life...and he is blessed to have such wonderful parents and siblings.

Praying for each of you as you speak at this church and say good-bye to your son. Actually, not good-bye...see you soon..right?

Hugs.
