Now that we know...

I found this here (thanks Audrey!) and while it is hard to watch, hard to take, and hard to admit- we need to do just that. We need to admit we are failing and come up with a plan. Oh wait-God already did that... as Audrey put it WE ARE THE PLAN. Let us never forget that. Let us never forget we are responsible. We cannot call ourselves Christians and know what we know and do nothing about it.

Once our eyes are opened we cannot pretend we do not know what to do. God who weighs our hearts, and keeps our souls, knows that we know, and holds us responsible to act. ~ Unknown

Oh my word---that is HARD to watch! So hard. But wow, what a powerful message. Oh Amy, I am so longing to see the church RISE UP and take care of MORE orphans. Yes, it IS up to us. God's word does not tell us to take care of the orphans because He thought it would sound good to put in there. NO---he meant it! I have such a long way to go---but I'm getting there, beginning to understand His heart for orphans.
Amazing video.

Amy - I'm posting this on my blog tomorrow. Awesome video!

My hearts screams for the body of Christ to wake up - open their eyes and hearts to what is around them everywhere. Even sitting right next to them on Sunday.

Blessings and love,
Jill

Mercy and compassion. That's what living for him is all about. What makes him hurt makes me hurt. Taking care of those in need is so very important. We can all do something......
