Who dun it... this time??

In light of the upcoming election here in a few days (GO VOTE!!) I thought I’d take our own little poll…
Awhile back my gracious blog readers helped me solve the mystery of who broke a piece of my beloved Guatemalan pottery. (Miss Aleigha was the culprit that time). Today I find myself at a loss once again for ‘who dun it’. Only this time it was not a piece of pottery….

Often times we are asked how our kids feel about being in a large family… people worry if each child gets enough individual attention, individual space, and enough one on one time. What people often don’t see is that there are a lot of benefits of being in a large family. Lots of support, lots of love, always someone to play with, someone to talk to… and always someone else to ‘blame it on’. Needless to say, we have a LOTS of ‘wasn’t me’s in this house. ;0)

One thing I love about being a mommy is seeing how different, how unique, God made each child. Kids just crack me up. They are creative, they see life in a way that I had forgotten, and they know how to have fun. Yet… they also do the dandiest things… Like for instance, wipe random boogers here and there throughout the house. (Anyone want to come visit us and stay for dinner?) :0) Today for instance I found a big ‘ol booger wiped on the wall right next to the toilet paper roll in the kids bathroom. Can I just ask WHY? TWO inches away was a entire roll of paper to place that pretty little booger in… but nooooooooooo we have to use the WALL instead!!
So where do you come in you ask? I need your help in solving the mystery of ‘Who dun it… this time’. Who wiped the booger on the wall???

So let’s get going… and cast those votes!!!

LOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Amy, I needed that!

I vote for Kallan. He looked way to guilty in that picture. ;-)

No way is he 11. It has been too long since we have gotten together. I still picture him wearing his pjs and chasing his class rat (hamster???) around.

Miss you guys.

Ok my hope it was Kaden since he is so young but..... after living with my own children I would say is was Kallan or maybe even Travis. You never know when you have a house full of boys.
This just made me laugh so hard because for the first time in a while I realized it wasn't me cleaning gross stuff off the wall!!!

Wow, what a beautiful family! I just found your blog thru several other blog connections! We adopted our 4 year old son last year from Kazakhstan. If we feel the Lord is calling us to do it again, we will most likely do domestic foster to adopt so I am anxious to follow along with your fabulous five adoption. I follow another "large" family blog which you may or may not have heard about but they have adopted 5 internationally. Her blog is http://smilesandtrials.blogspot.com/ and ours is http://kitzkazventure.blogspot.com

I am glad that you have gone public so I can jump on the blogwagon with you! Karen Kitzman

I just found your site through the Rigg's, "Where Laughter Lives" and love this post! I think the "culprit" must have been a visitor! Your kids are much too beautiful (even with the fingers) to have done such a thing.

So funny!! What a great way to introduce someone new to your blog to all the kiddos. They are adorable - even with fingers in noses! Thanks for the great laugh! I, too, wonder why - right next to the toilet paper??? Do you want to admire that later?? LOL I vote Keegan - he looks really serious [and experienced!]

My first thought was Kallan, because I have a 12 year old son who would totally overlook the close proximity of the TP. :)

But when I look at the pictures, I wonder could it possibly be one of the other two people who live in the house because those kids are just way too cute to do something like that! :)

My vote is Amy! You've got to be way to tired to even wipe your nose! Plus...I grew up sharing a room with you....I KNOW what you're capable of! Jenny

Amy...This post cracked me up I had to share it with my husband and we both came to the conclusion that our vote is Kallan. Sorry Kallan...but judging from the pictures above...that is the vote we came up with. :)

I'm going to vote for Mya. She is simply adorable and hard to picture as the culprit of anything, but you see I have a 5-year old at home too, so I've been where you are....

OK.. I will vote the 11 year old as I have a son not too much older than him that has been the culprit in our house too many times! Disgusting!

Has my HUSBAND been to your house???? HAHAHAHA

Really his mom needed to teach him BOOGER MANNERS...I am always asking him...just like the kids...DO YOU NEED A KLEENEX

SUCH A FUNNY POST

Too Funny, love the pictures. I just started following your blog. My mother and father in alw are friends with the Bogg's form Eagles nest, I nver did meet them while I was livintg in Guatemala but they sound like wonderful people. Can't wait to to read about your new Fab Five, i"m sure it will be tough but such a wonderful blessing for all of you. YOu and your husband don't even look old enough to have teenagers! all the people thinking that you are crazy for adopting 5 more are just jealous that they look older and tired with just 1 or 2 kids, ha ha.

It has to be the same culprit who left a half-eaten apple under the end table in our living room. His name is 'Not Me'!

Phyllis said...

OK, PLEASE tell me this happened before my daughter was there!! You know she went thru half a box of kleenex on our way there :)
If it wasn't my kid, then I have to vote for Kaden. So sweet, but I think he's the culprit.

I was going to vote for Kallan b/c that's completely something an 11 year old boy would do. But then I scrolled down and saw Aleigha with her finger actually IN her nose - and it just looks like she's had a lot of practice.

BTW, how'd you bribe your oldest three to do the booger pose?

Lisa Heller said...

I vote Kallan. Surely those sweet little girls wouldn't do that. Kaden would probably wipe it on his clothes. The older three better not have done it!!! That leaves Kallan, and we all know what 11 yr old boys are capable of!

Stacia said...

What a great way to be introduced to your family, boogers and all!! Love it! I say Aleigha is the culprit!

Many blessings!
