Love this picture. Love how sweet Carson has to cover his face with the laundry because foster kids can't be on blogs! So funny... I remember doing the same thing. You are much more clever. :) (BTW Was that clean laundry in there? Just saying...)
Yikes! No washing machine, not a good thing. I have 6 kiddos and I'm doing laundry every other minute, if my washing machine broke I would need to be medicated!
They look so tiny in that basket. I used to play in a yellow laundry basket when I was a kid...my mom saved it all those years and gave it to me when I had my daughter. I was so shocked....really after all those years. She said that she hoped her grandadughter would enjoy it like I did.
Amy, Just wondering if you've heard of the organization Mayan Families. You can check them out on my blog, I thought you might be interested because you have little Mayan princesses as well. Blessings
BtDt.. my FIL bought us a new washer and dryer because I was doing it all by hand for 6 months.. YES that was a 6... I learned 2 things- 1, we have WAY too many clothes, and 2.. I wore the basics... 7 pairs of underware, jeans and a occassional change of t-shirts... My dh went and got his uniforms dry cleaned (at a free cleaners) Good luck and we totally understand your lack of blogging..
Blessed mommy of nine- 4 the regular old way, 2 adopted from Guatemala, 2 adopted through the foster system, and one adopted from Ethiopia. Our family is serving the Lord in Guatemala at Village of Hope- a home for special needs children. I'm passionate about adoption and being a mom. I'm a work in progress, utterly reliant upon God. I'm easy-going, until I freak out. Organized, until I lose something. Laid back, until someone hurts the ones I love. I love taking pictures and writing. I adore big families and people who are willing to live life in an unordinary way. Come along on my journey and watch 'as my blessings grow'.

Grhhh, I am so sorry about your washing washing. I hope you get one soon. I can't imagine how quickly it piles up in your house.

I've been so blessed by your blog tonight. Spurring us on with adoption - thank you! Our God is big enough. Yes! He is!
I think you have the best looking laundry I've ever seen!
Can't imagine NOT being attached to that laundry :o)

Praying for your trip. I can not wait to hear what God is going to show you while you are there serving others. May your heart be blessed!
Too cute!! So sorry that your washer bit the dust. Hope you can get it fixed or get a new one quickly!!
