What now...

I love being a Christian more than anything. It is such a privilege to know and serve the God of our universe. Each day, no matter what the circumstances that surround us- I stand in awe of a God who is all knowing. A God who loves us regardless of our sin, regardless of our faults. A God who created us for His purpose.
We have been spending a lot of time in prayer lately seeking Him, asking Him for clear guidance, asking for the doors to swing wide open to the path He wants us to take. The need is huge. Somewhere right now there is a child waiting. Alone, scared, hungry, hurting. A child God created. A child God loves. And God is calling.
As we sit and wait now for Him to lead the way, to clear the path of any obstacles and bring our child home- I cannot help but to be overflowing with joy. I have no idea who that child is, where that child is, what that child dreams of... but one thing I do know is that we serve an amazing God who has all the answers and I am so blessed by Him. It's pretty much indescribable. ;0)

You've got it right, Sister. No matter what hardhship or disappointment, if we keep our eyes on God, "all things work together for good to those the love God and obey Him". Why don't we just choose to take Him up on that promise when things get hard?

AMEN AMY!!!

By the way I love the new photo of you and your hubby! You both look great! You are so beautiful inside out!

I wonder if God is done building our family. I know right now I feel it is time to be still and just wait on Him - while He works on our hearts and molds into whatever He sees fit for our future. I'm relieved to be out of the adoption journey for a bit. It has been a very busy and crazy 3.5 yrs. And yet, I dream about 143 million children without a home, who might not know Him and are dreaming of belonging to someone, somewhere...

Hugs and love!

Another awesome post. We are in the same boat just waiting for that/those child/ren. It's hard to wait as we are ready but we have to leave it to God to know when it's right. Praying for you to have that comfort to know that your child is in gods hand waiting to be placed with your beautiful family.

It was so good to see this post from you, I have been praying that you would see that things not working out with the fabulouse four does not necessarily mean that the Lord is finished using you in the life of another child/ren. :)

Will be excited to see where the Lord directs you!

I am so happy to see that you aren't giving up and that will use to touch the life of another child.

I can't wait to see who God brings into your family next. You and Todd are incredible parents. Any child would be blessed to call you Mommy.
