I am ashamed to invite people to my home, because of my pride. Because my hours isn't as clean, as big, as well-decorated as theirs. Because I'm terrified of a cockroach crawling out in front of everyone. Because I'm afraid of what they will think of me. ME ME ME ME. No wonder I have no friends. No wonder no one comes to visit - because I'm too prideful, too about myself, instead of truly letting people into my HOME. <br />When God speaks, he cuts through the fat, doesn't He?Catalinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14717574764415693598noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6317477880142153579.post-36233748853733109522013-07-18T16:31:48.548-07:002013-07-18T16:31:48.548-07:00I have missed your blogging!! You push me, which is a good thing. ;) A few weekends ago I was having a small fit b/c we had been asked to host some girls from Ch*na for the weekend. The house was a mess, laundry piled up, yada yada...but I finally agreed anyway. Long story short, we had a wonderful time with them, including church (which they had not experienced but asked to go!), & when they left, they were crying. They were not crying b/c of the state of my house; they were crying b/c they experienced family in a way they had never known as only children. Very humbling. And now we have 4 more coming this weekend! :o)Dardihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11506811940537594798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6317477880142153579.post-45645373865110389452013-07-18T14:44:53.811-07:002013-07-18T14:44:53.811-07:00What a beautifully written heart breaking story, A...What a beautifully written heart breaking story, Amy!
