All in the name of a family picture



So while I LOVE taking pictures of my kids- I dread taking the family picture. Not because I don't want one, or not because I won't treasure it with my entire heart... but because of the work that goes into actually getting 11 people all looking put together and looking at the camera is no easy task.

A sweet family friend, Ashley, (thanks Ashley!!!!) came over and took our picture yesterday before Travis left back to college-and let me tell you she had her work cut out for her. We battled the heat, we battled the sun in our faces- but we persevered through it all- in the name of getting a family picture. :) Just thought you might enjoy seeing the 'before' and 'after'. Made me laugh.
And here are a few more of the finished product. :) We love you Travis and we will miss you dearly!!!

    Love,love, love them all! You are such a beautiful family, both inside and out and it shows through and through each picture. Of course I especially love Addisyn's shirt, ;) I am not looking forward to the day my first born is gone to school, so hard for a momma's heart.

    The pictures are so good. I especially like the one with the kids looking around the tree at mom and dad. You have a beautiful crew.
    Haven looks like just a little peanut. She is so small but big in personality.

    Love all the pictures Mrs. Amy! Ashley is a great picture taker! Looks like our church youth group. Such a big family but a pretty small youth group! Haha! Love you all Mrs. Amy!

    Love the photos and love the Blocks! I prefer the "before" photos. I just think they are so real and they always make me laugh and warm my heart. The top one is downright hilarious! It looks like you're giving Todd the business and the kids all look scared. And I LOVE Mya's head under your arm.

    oh my goodness... precious. i LOVE the one with the tree... for your kids to see how in love their parents are- priceless. you have such a beautiful family... even in 120 degree weather!
